Cookie in .NET

  Cookies are used to store information in user system. The cookie contains the information the webpage can read when the user visits the site.

      The following code creates a cookie in user system which persists for 30 days.

            Response.Cookies["UserName"].Value = "ProgramCall.Com";

            Response.Cookies["UserName"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(30);


            //Method 2   Creating cookie in .net

            HttpCookie sampleCookie = new HttpCookie("Authentication");

            sampleCookie.Values.Add("UserName", userName);

            sampleCookie.Values.Add("Password", Password);

            sampleCookie.Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(30);

            Response.Cookies.Add(sampleCookie); // Add it to the header
